We use a normal, in-contract SIM provided by you. We extract some information from the SIM which is then used to tell a mobile network that the number is now on their network. This allows any messages sent to the number to come to us which we then handle as normal.
Yes, we recommend a contract SIM card. Pre-pay SIMs can be used, but full international roaming (to include Jersey) is required. When we receive your SIM card we will extract some information from it, and use to setup the virtual SIM.
Yes. Whilst you can't directly receive inbound calls, you can setup 'call forwarding' on your SIM before sending it to us - this setup and any costs would be between you and your network.
When any inbound messages are received by your VSIM the 4G Service gateway will pass these to you without delay by your chosen method. Our unique Auto Responder will pass messages to you by email for low volume or HTTP for high volume. SMPP is also available for high volume, high throughput applications.
